CWD Quota Met in Clayton County

ree

The Iowa DNR has reached its Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) testing quota for White-Tailed Deer in Clayton County. As a result, Osborne Nature Center-Clayton County Conservation  will no longer be accepting CWD samples.

Hunters can still submit samples directly to the Iowa DNR for $25 per sample. Here’s how:

Contact your local DNR Wildlife Biologist to arrange a drop-off time or mail your sample to the Iowa DNR using the instructions provided on their website.

For more information on submitting CWD samples, visit: Iowa DNR CWD Submission Pathway.
