The Iowa DNR has reached its Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) testing quota for White-Tailed Deer in Clayton County. As a result, Osborne Nature Center-Clayton County Conservation will no longer be accepting CWD samples.
Hunters can still submit samples directly to the Iowa DNR for $25 per sample. Here’s how:
Contact your local DNR Wildlife Biologist to arrange a drop-off time or mail your sample to the Iowa DNR using the instructions provided on their website.
For more information on submitting CWD samples, visit: Iowa DNR CWD Submission Pathway.

It's encouraging to hear that Clayton County has met its Chronic Wasting Disease testing quota. This achievement speaks volumes about the commitment of local hunters moto x3m and the Iowa DNR in monitoring and managing wildlife health.
