Clayton County Conservation is pleased to host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Monday, June 1st from 8am – 12pm at Osborne. Any Clayton County resident wishing to dispose of hazardous waste must call Floyd, Mitchell, Chickasaw Waste Management 1-641-982-4288 to set up an appointment.
When you call for an appointment, they will determine if you are eligible to use their services, if the materials you plan to bring are acceptable, and get an idea of the quantities for staffing and equipment reasons. This is a free program offered by a grant through the Winneshiek County Solid Waste Agency. Latex paint will not be accepted.
