The next Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls program will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20th. This year’s theme is “Iowa, Then and Now”, and March’s program will be “The Mushrooms of Iowa.”

About the Event

Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the house, meet new friends and enjoy a meal while you learn about our area? Open to all, O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls gets together the 3rd Thursday of each month, March through November. April’s topic will be “The Mushrooms of Iowa” with Naturalist Abbey Harkrader to learn if mushrooms grow or if they “POP”. Participants will have the option of joining the others for lunch in town after the program.

Reservations are required. Reserve your spot today by calling (563) 245-1516 or visit the Osborne Nature Center. Osborne Nature Center is located on HWY 13 five miles south of Elkader. The center is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. For more information on events visit www.claytoncountyconservation.org.
