Clayton County Conservation invites all runners to the 2nd Annual Pony Hollow Trail 15K on October 24, 2020. This race will take you out and back on the scenic, flat, lime-chipped Pony Hollow Trail and the Elkader Exercise Trail. You will appreciate the beauty of this lime-chip trail as it meanders in the trees along the Turkey River and Robert’s Creek.

We will take all safety precautions to social distance. With this in mind all registrations will be done online or by mail, eliminating race-day registrations. The $35 registration will include a long-sleeve performance shirt (registrations must be received by October 15th to guarantee a shirt). All registrations will be closed on midnight of October 22nd. Packet pickup will be at Osborne Welcome Center from 8 am-4 pm October 23rd or from

7:30-8:45 am on race day at the Floral Hall shelter house located in the Elkader City Park. There is also parking and bathrooms located in this area for your convenience.

Race will start promptly at 9 AM at the Elkader Little League Park located a block south of the Elkader City Park, across the street from the South trailhead on the corner of South High Street and Hwy 13. Please use the city park and pool parking lot for all vehicle parking.

For more information please call 563-245-1516 or email mscherf@claytoncountyia.gov.

The funds raised from this race will be used for future trail expansion efforts to join the two Pony Hollow trail heads into a continuous loop. Not a runner but still want to support this project? Donations can be accepted at Clayton County Conservation. We are also looking for volunteers to help on race day.

Clayton County Conservation will be closed Nov 26-29 for Thanksgiving.
