Come and explore the magic of a midsummer night on the prairie with a hike up to a beautiful prairie planting at the Motor Mill Historic Site. After exploring the flowers, insects, and wildlife flourishing at dusk, we’ll sit back and enjoy the firefly display glowing in the valley as evening sets in.
Participants should come prepared for an easy hike of just over a mile, with possible excursions into taller vegetation. Long pants and bug spray recommended. Participants are also invited to bring a camping chair to relax and watch the fireflies.
