Thomas Dambo Trolls “The Tree Thieves Tour”
Thursday, October 15th
Osborne Nature Center - Reservations Required
Osborne’s Next Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls (OWLS) Tour will be on Thursday, October 15th. October’s destination will be a trip to Clinton, Iowa. Please meet at Osborne Park at 9:00 to carpool there.
Join us for a trip to Clinton in search of the Thomas Dambo Trolls called “The Tree Thieves”, the locations include the Arboretum, the Sawmill Museum, and The Depot. These larger-than-life sculptures from reclaimed wood are awe-inspiring. The Trolls are named after three brothers who once lived and farmed in the Clinton area, Helmut, Marvin, and Warren. The trip promises to be a fun adventure for those who love art, whimsy, history and scavenger hunts. Clues at each sculpture will help find a 4th hidden sculpture called “Enchanted Branches.”
