Join Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls for the 2025 grand tour of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. April’s destination will be a visit to the Mines of Spain and E.B. Lyons Nature Center. Please meet at Osborne Park at 10:00 to carpool to our destination.
Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the house, meet new friends and enjoy a meal while you learn about our area? Join us the 3rd Thursday of each month, March through November, for O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls. Join us for Aprils’ tour as we explore the Historic Mines of Spain and E.B. Lyons Nature Center. This tour will also include a visit to the shot tower and the Julien Dubuque Monument.
