The next Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls program will be on Thursday, June 16th. This year’s theme is “Discover our Museums”, and June’s event will be a trip to Howard county to tour the Lidtke Mill and Mill House.

Built in 1860, Lidtke Mill is situated on the picturesque Upper Iowa River near Lime Springs. Rare for a mill, Lidtke Mill preserves the original equipment left exactly as it was when owner Herman Lidtke closed the mill in 1960. The tour will also include the Miller’s house with many things to see and stories about the family who ran the mill.

The shuttle will leave Osborne Park at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16th, reservations are required. Reserve your spot today by calling (563) 245-1516 or visit the Osborne Nature Center.
