Join Summer Naturalist Tate Lamm for an early morning bird hike along the Robert and Ruth Grau Memorial Savannah Trail on Saturday July 25th. Participants should meet at 7:30 AM at the Inn at Motor Mill Historic Site before setting off on the hike.


This guided hike will follow the Grau Trail through the oak savannah in search of summer bird species. The hike will travel along the beautiful prairies, oak savannahs and woodlands north of the mill. Most of the trail is shaded. Participants should come prepared for a couple steep and rocky sections of trail. Good footwear and bug spray are recommended.
