 Heritage Days At Osborne Image

February: Second Weekend of the Month

Quilt Show - The show has been cancelled for 2010.

During the second weekend of February, quilts made by the Northeast Iowa Quilters Guild are on display at the Osborne Center.  Enjoy the craftsmanship and beauty of over 200 tapestries as you walk through the nature center.  There is no charge for this event, held on a biannual schedule 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Spring

Volunteer Meal and Program

Every year the Clayton County Conservation Board celebrates the hard work of our volunteers with a meal and program.  Over 150 community members volunteer their time to work in the Iowa Room, help with special events, care for gardens, and teach students about environmental education.  Through their efforts over 2,500 hours of volunteer time are accumulated each year.  Without their support, the Osborne Center would be unable to offer the wide variety of services, programs and events that you have come to enjoy.
